On highway the speed of the vehicles are usually high than on city roads. Trucks and other heavy vehicle are more seen on the highway and cars with high speed tends to overtake. The serious problem while overtaking a heavy vehicle is that their is this blind spot and you cannot see whats ahead of the vehicle you are overtaking. In short high speed overtaking some time land up in accidents due to poor visibility.
To overcome the problem a Russian Design Company has come up with a innovative idea called Transparentius that put the camera in front of the vehicle and same is connected with the screen which is back of the vehicle. This create a transparent view of the vehicle and driver of vehicle behind the heavy truck is having full view of what is ahead of the vehicle and maneuver the vehicle accordingly.
Samsung has already put the idea on test on Argentine roads, which you can see the images below:
This idea is immensely helpful while driving at night.
Though this idea is still waiting regulatory approval for mass production.
