Ever looked at the sea and wondered what a completely different world might look like down there? Forget the normal beach picture for a minute. These imagined underwater scenes take everyday things and put them somewhere they definitely do not belong.
A bicycle, a greenhouse and a suitcase. Sounds like a strange packing list already. Now put all three under water and let the imagination do the rest.
Wanna go for a cycle? There is one small problem.
The bicycle is ready. The road, unfortunately, has been replaced by the seabed. A school of fish seems to know exactly where it is going, which is more than we can say for the rider who left this cycle here.
Look at the light coming through the water. Its a peaceful scene until you remember how much effort pedalling through sand would take. Maybe walking was the better idea.
A greenhouse with a very unusual visitor
We usually build a greenhouse to keep plants warm and sheltered. This imaginary one has coral outside and a turtle passing over the roof. Quite a change from finding a pigeon in the garden.
The tiny ferns make it feel familiar. Everything around them makes it feel impossible. That little mix is what makes the picture fun to look at twice.
And this suitcase has packed its own passengers
Open a normal suitcase and you get clothes, chargers and probably something you forgot you packed. Open this one and out float glowing jellyfish. Now that would make baggage collection interesting.
There is no real diving trip hiding behind these scenes. They are little visual daydreams, the sort where an ordinary object gets one unexpected twist and suddenly you have a whole new world.
So which one would you like to explore? I would probably stand outside the greenhouse and wait for the turtle to come back. The bicycle can wait.
