- Captain Marvel
On March 8, Captain Marvel is out in theatres with full swag as this would be the first solo film from Marvel that is led by a woman! Brie Larson starring as Carol Danvers is ready to rock the world with her super powers. And it happens to be International Women’s Day too! There couldn’t be a more perfect date for the release.
- Dumbo
A live-action remake of Dumbo, which was first released in 1941, is set to release on March 29. This movie with the elephant who got picked on because of his large ears is a classic and is ready for some developments and twists. So, watch out!
- Penguins
Steve, is penguin in the Antarctic who is looking for a partner with whom he can have a family with. He hits the theatres in April in documentary style. This cute little one is definitely set to win hearts! Penguins is Disney’s eighth theatrical release from Disneynature.
- Avengers: Endgame
Whatever happened after Thaonos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War? Well, you’re about to find out on April 26! Avengers: Endgame is all set to release and keep all you Marvel fans on your toes till then! Seems like the Avengers are preparing for the most epic movie ever.
- Aladdin
Who does not love Aladdin? The magic carpet, the genie and the beautiful Jasmine… Well, on May 24, a live-action remake of Aladdin is out and get this: Will Smith is playing the character of the genie! Can’t wait to see that now, can we?
- Toy Story 4
Toy Story is back on June 21! We all thought that the last Toy Story movie was in fact the last one, but turns out Woody, Buzz and the old gang, with some new friends are taking on some new quest. Wait till June 21 to find out!
- The Lion King
This Disney classic is back in a live-action movie this July 19. Jon Favreau, who directed the live-action remake of The Jungle Book in 2016 is also giving the world The Lion King this year. With a cast of Beyoncé, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, and James Earl Jones, it sure seems like a movie you wouldn’t wanna miss!
- Artemis Fowl
Artemis Fowl is out on theatres on August 9. According to the book series, Artemis is a 12-year-old, full of smartness and comes from a family of criminal masterminds. It is an exciting story where Artemis holds a fairy ransom to restore his family’s fortune and also joins with the fairies to save his father. If you have or haven’t read the books, get ready for an enchanting experience!
- Frozen 2
November 22 is bringing the winter feels right on! Elsa and Anna are coming with a sequel and much more adventure and excitement. There are also four new songs, so we can expect them to be as good or even better than ‘Let It Go’.
- Star Wars: Episode IX
December 20 is when Star Wars: Episode IX is out in theatres and it will be the last Disney movie for the year. This would also be the final movie of the trilogy. It will definitely be a must see because hey, we all want to know how Star Wars comes to the end of an era.
