A European company, Arkyne Technologies is developing this device that charge your phone using photosynthesis. The system is called “bioo lite” and it generates electricity using only water, soil and any common plotted plant.
The power output is similar to laptop or desktop usb port and can have cycle of 2 to 3 charges per day. As per the information available, it will not harm the plants :).
Hmm. One more step toward alternative energy.
