While traveling there is somehow or the other there are some incidence we never forget. Sometime we miss the flight and sometime the flight is delayed because of some reason. In most of the cases the flight also get delayed because the passengers carry the stuff which is not allowed. Then obviously the security personnel would need to check the bags and this will eventually delay our flight.
As passengers we get irritated because of all these checks at the airports but these are very essential for our safety.
Let see what all things people tried to carry while traveling and some are really shocking
#1. People actually tried to carry marijuana bags while traveling. This is absolutely no no while traveling, what these guys where thinking when they checked-in. We are sure that security personnel must be having more questions about these items.
#2. How about a lobster: Well, carrying a lobster in a plane may not be prohibited. We sure there must be some rules of packing the food. Specially the lobster, look at the size, imagine this in the x-ray of baggage.
#3. Knife: We know that knives are not allowed in the planes and if you are carrying one then make sure it is in check-in baggage and not in carry-on baggage. The concealed knife is also prohibited and if found in your carry-on baggage then it may cause lot of trouble to you. May be ven be arrested for that, so be mindful.
#4. You would be surprised that one passenger was carrying a cat in the luggage. Wow, how can someone do this in first place. This 6 months old kitten was discovered by Transport Security Administration (TSA). It can’t be be accident and any living being should not be treated like this. Forget the question about its prohibited or not.
#5. What the heck! how can someone even think to carrying this in the aircraft. Well this must be landed the person in trouble.
#6. Looks like weekend is coming but this is a picture of confiscated alcohol. As per TSA this confiscated alcohol for two week. As quoted by TSA “it’s two-week’s worth of alcohol that was left behind at Boston (BOS) checkpoints because they didn’t adhere to our liquid policies. And this picture doesn’t include the beer and wine. Alcohol is destroyed every two weeks”.
#7. Spear gun is useful while you are fishing but would it wise too carry while traveling ? No, you should avoid these in air travel and better leave this at home.
#8. Gunpowder, we live in world where almost everyone knows what gunpowder can do. And why people think that its ok to d air travel with gunpowder. It is inflammable and dangerous why would authorities allow this kind of stuff. Just don’t even try to carry this.
#9. And some time, people just wanted to be caught, have fun. As per TSA, Knives of any size are not allowed in carry-on bags. Please pack them in your checked-in bags.
#10. Overlarge items should be avoided because it is difficult to scan them. TSA quoted this story of teddy bear on their Instagram page “we’ve learned that he’s a popular YouTuber and this was a stunt to see if he could get the giant bear on the plane. He even made up a backstory that the bear was a gift for his girlfriend. The bear did not belong to a child. The passenger had actually bought a ticket for the bear. After the airline and TSA decided the bear was too large, the airline offered to refund the ticket and the traveler was given the option of checking the bear as checked baggage. The traveler opted not to check the bear and left it behind.*** Why does this gigantic teddy bear look so sad? He was abandoned by his owners at LAX after the airline and TSA determined that he was just too big to be screened as a carry-on and taken on the plane. It’s a good idea to check with your airline prior to traveling with overly large items as cary-ons”. Well the story is quite heart breaking and teddy bear look so sad.
#11. Ask yourself, can you carry this in carry-on baggage in flight. It was discovered in a carry-on bag at the Atlantic City International Airport (ACY). Wow.
