We all go on holidays with friends and families for resting, adventures, exploring etc. Some travel to different countries and others go to nearby places. The common thing about travelling is the stay at hotel and usually we do lot of research before we book the hotel for the stay.
When you think of hotels, you are probably imagining the nice, soft and inviting bed that is so tempting to lie down on. We also usually expect some decent standard of hygiene and cleanliness. But think twice before you put your head down on those soft pillows and comfortable mattress. This may come as a shock but many hotels don’t change the bed-sheets on a regular basis even after the previous guests have checked out. There are chances that you may get a used bed-sheet. The following investigation was done by Inside Edition and the result was shocking. It is said that even hotels having a good rating fell short of the minimum standard.
The Inside Edition quoted “We visited rooms at different hotels and sprayed messages on the sheets using washable paint only visible under UV light. We checked out and booked into the same rooms the next evening. When we switched on the UV light, the painted messages were still there.”
